I ask the question of behalf of Hon Jon Ford, who has left the chamber on urgent parliamentary business. I refer to the current negotiations between the Department of Environment and Conservation and Mr Taffy Abbotts. A senior officer of the Department of Environment and Conservation has been in regular contact with Mr Abbotts and has sought and received additional information from Mr Abbotts as part of ongoing negotiations.
