Hon Pierre Yang replied:I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question. The following answer has
been provided to me by the Minister for Health.(1) No.(2)–(4) The Department of Health requested
the issuing of the instruction to facilitate commitments made during
negotiations for the WA Health System—HSUWA—PACTS Industrial
Agreement 2024 to provide an enhanced and modernised career pathway for allied
health and health science professionals. The instruction further facilitates a
commitment to contemporise the career structure for anaesthetic technicians employed
in WA Health.
