(a) There were two periods of disruption on the Joondalup line, the first occurred at 7.25am and the second at 10.00pm.
(b) The technical issues responsible for both disruptions were due to points at Perth yard west being damaged by an on track maintenance vehicle. Repairs were carried out on the evening of 8 March 2015 which carried into the morning of 9 March 2015.
(c) With respect to the first disruption that occurred at 7.25am, services resumed at 9.00am and in reference to the second disruption at 10.00pm, services resumed at 5.30am on 9
March 2015.
(d) 26 train services were affected in total (10 services from the first disruption and 16 services from the second disruption).
