process is the amendment?
(2) What level of
community consultation was undertaken by the Western Australian Planning

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the member for some notice
of the question.
(1) The amendment is currently being
considered by the Western Australian Planning Commission.
(2) Responsibility for consultation on scheme
amendments rests with the local government under the Planning and Development
(Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015. As required, the City of South Perth advertised amendment 46 and submitted it, along with details of all
public submissions, to the WAPC. The WAPC will consider the submissions as part
of its assessment of the amendment and will provide this detail to me with its
recommendation.
(3) I will make a decision on the
amendment after receiving the recommendation of the WAPC.
