I refer to the Growth Areas Infrastructure Requirements Report prepared by the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) (WA), dated September 2024, which identified enabling infrastructure required to support more housing in key growth areas through three main corridors: North-East (North Ellenbrook and Bullsbrook), North-West (East Wanneroo), and Southern (Mundijong and East Wellard). In relation to the Southern Corridor (Mundijong and East Wellard) identified as having a current planned dwelling yield of approximately 7,500 (Mundijong) and 6,000 (East Wellard) homes, I ask: (a) how much State Government funding has been allocated to the each of the following items of immediate priority enabling infrastructure identified by the UDIA: (i) wastewater - Wastewater pump station and pressure main - estimated cost $11.8 million ($12 million committed to date) - required immediately - with comment from UDIA "An allocation of $12M for Mindijong Scott Road Pump Station is included in Water Corporation's CIP but due to inability for developers to pre-fund, it needs to be brought forward to 2024-25 to provide for the reimbursement of pump station works on completion of construction."; (ii) power - Planning for substation site (Kargotich Road) - estimated cost $5 million - required immediately - with comment from UDIA "Planning for site required per Perth and Peel @ 3.5m, in addition to transmission line and feeder extension upgrades."; (iii) power - Power feed upgrades - estimated cost $10 million - required immediately - with comment from UDIA "Extension of additional power feeders to support development activity in the region"; (iv) transport - Mundijong road upgrade (including intersections) - estimated cost $18 million - required in 5-10 years; and (v) total Southern Corridor - estimated $44.8m (committed to date $12 million)?
