Limited registration is a mechanism giving schools the ability to employ well-qualified people to fill specific teaching roles when needed and is granted based on a rigorous assessment of a nominee’s eligibility. Examples include design and technology teachers, language teachers and pre-service teachers in their final years of training.
Teaching Staff can hold Limited Registration for many years. As such they can appear in the figures multiple times. The sum of the breakdowns exceeds the total distinct count of individual staff.
