(1) How many full-time equivalent
staff in the Department of Lands —
(a) have been assigned to work solely
on rangelands reform; and
(b) have been assigned to work on rangelands
reform in addition to other duties?
(2) How many new
FTE positions associated with rangelands reform have been created in the
department since December 2010?

July 2013 and 30 June 2014, 1.5 full-time equivalent staff were assigned to
work solely on rangelands reform. Between 1 July 2014 and 30 June 2015, one FTE
staff member was assigned to work solely on rangelands reform. Between 1 July
2015 and 30 June 2016, 3.8 FTE staff were assigned to work solely on rangelands
reform.
(b) Between 1
July 2013 and 30 June 2014, a 0.8 FTE staff member was assigned to work on
rangelands reform in addition to other duties. Between 1 July 2014 and 30 June
2015, a 0.8 FTE staff member was assigned to work on rangelands reform in
addition to other duties. Between 1 July 2015 and 30 June 2016, 3.4 FTE staff
were assigned to work on rangelands reform in addition to other duties.
(2) The
Department of Lands was formed on 1 July 2013 and since that time three FTE
positions have been created. However, two of those positions were temporary and
no longer exist.
