PUBLIC SECTOR WAGES POLICY
1143. Hon NEIL THOMSON to the minister representing the Treasurer:
I refer to page 265 of budget paper
No 3 of 2024–25, which states —
$161.4
million from the appropriation administered by Treasury for Provision for Wages
Policy Outcomes Not Yet Finalised to
various agencies to meet the costs of industrial agreements finalised since the
2023– 24 Budget
I also note there is more detail on
page 266.
(1) Are any agencies for which this
provision was made yet to finalise their wages policy outcomes?
(2) If yes, which agencies?
(3) Of the agencies referred to on page 266, what is
the final provision on the finalisation of their wages and negotiations?
(4) Noting the
concerns about net debt projections and the softening of resources, what is the
current wages policy affecting negotiations in 2024–25?
