Hon Martin Pritchard asks the Minister for Planning about specific population forecasts for several Perth suburbs in 2025, related to the 'Perth and [email protected]' plan. The Minister responds that the Department of Planning only has projections at the local government area level, providing figures for the Cities of Wanneroo and Swan, and the Shires of Serpentine-Jarrahdale and Kalamunda.

I thank the member for some notice of this question.
I have been advised that the Department of Planning does not
have a breakdown of the population projections for specific areas, as
requested. However, it does have population projections for the relevant local
government areas, which are as follows. For the City of Wanneroo, population
projections are 160 281 in 2011, 253 041 in 2021, and 359 885 in 2031. For the
City of Swan, they are 114 300 in 2011, 170 164 in 2021, and 220 344 in 2031.
For the Shire of Serpentine–Jarrahdale, they are 18 498 in 2011, 34 822
in 2021, and 53 375 in 2031. For the Shire of Kalamunda, they are 56 492 in
2011, 64 955 in 2021, and 71 001 in 2031.
