Minister for Corrective Services:
I refer to youth
justice.
(1) How many detainees have required hospitalisation
this month following serious self-harm or a suicide attempt?
(2) How many detainees are
currently in hospital following serious self-harm or a suicide attempt?
(3) What is the
breakdown of budget spending for youth justice custodial services on
psychological services in the community versus in detention?

Services. The Department of Justice advise as follows.
(1)–(2) The
provision of this information could risk identification or breach the privacy
of personal health information.
(3) The 2024–25
annual budget for Youth Justice Services relating to psychological services is
$3 622 225, which provides services to both community and custodial services.
The budget is not broken down by community and detention.
