I refer to the 30 November 2019 deadline, as committed to by the Director General of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD), completing like-to-like and quarantine merit selection appointment processes as part of Organisational Design Phase 2 so that all permanent employees will know their individual outcomes, and I ask: (a) Is the department on track to meet its 30 November 2019 deadline; (b) How many permanent employees in total will have been subject to the processes; (c) How many employees have become registerable to date; (d) How many employees in total are anticipated to become registerable by 30 November 2019; (e) How many vacancies are expected to be left open following completion of the aforementioned processes; and (f) How long will the department offer case management support for employees who become registerable?

(a) Yes
(b) 1319 permanent employees have been subject to ODP2.
(c) & (d) 161 employees have been made registrable as a result of ODP2. As of 9/01/2020, 78 of the 161 cases have been resolved.
(e) All identified vacant positions, following like to like and quarantined merit selection processes, are either currently being recruited or planned for future recruitment. There are approximately 90 recruitment processes currently under way.
(f) The department will continue to case manage its registrable employees until they are resolved.
