(1) - (9) As at 31 December 2007:
· Nursing head count for December 2007 was 12,852, an increase of 612 from December 2006.
· Nursing FTE for December 2007 was 10,031, an increase of 299 from December 2006 and,
· 483.3FTE unfilled nursing positions (average).
From 1 January to 31 December 2007 there were
· 1,332 resignations, retirements and terminations for nursing.
· 476 graduate registered nurse recruitments; and
·  a net increase in nursing head count of 612.
As at December 2007 there were:
· 2,946,991 accrued long service leave hours.
· 2,145,806 accrued annual leave hours (this figure fell by 105,090 hours (4.9%) in January 2008 to 2,040,716 as a result of leave taken over the Christmas period).
· 1,774,443 accrued sick leave hours for nursing as at 14 April 2008.
