which shooters and helicopters will cull feral deer populations aided by

Hon Jackie Jarvis replied:I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question. I note the response is
correct as of Tuesday 17 June, the date that it was asked.(1) Areas near Esperance, 660 square kilometres;
Harvey, 440 square kilometres; and Muchea, 41 square kilometres.(2) Estimated populations at the three sites are Esperance,
660; Harvey, 700; and Muchea, 170.(3) The department is aiming for long-term
eradication of rusa deer at Harvey. The aim is to remove approximately 60% of
the red and fallow deer at Esperance and Muchea control sites.(4) Approximately $250.
