I refer to the State Government’s efficiency dividend cuts recently announced by Premier Barnett, and I ask: (a) will the Minister confirm that the Department for Child Protection and Family Support will be forced to find savings of $5.6 million from their 2014-15 Budget allocation; (b) how will the Director General determine where the savings will be made; (c) what is the anticipated breakdown of funding cuts by the department's divisions and the value of each divisional cut; (d) will any divisions be quarantined from funding cuts and, if so: (i) which ones; and (ii) for what reason will the division be quarantined; and (e) will any of the 1,500 public service jobs to be slashed by the Barnett Government be from the Department for Child Protection and Family Support?
