I refer to question on notice No. 374 of Wednesday, December 19 2001 and the answers provided -
(1) Can the Minister state why the area is considered to be active in terms of the rehabilitation requirements on waste dumps and over all other areas on the tenement?
(2) If not, why not?
(3) Can the Minister give both of the specific dates or months of the year in which open pit mining operations and underground mining operations ceased on this tenement?
(4) If not, why not?
(5) Can the Minister table a scaled map showing which area is being assessed for further development and state why this affects all the rehabilitation requirements on all parts of the waste dumps?
(6) If not, why not?
(7) Can the Minister give a date when the holder of Mining Lease 24/189 will be instructed by the Department to complete all the rehabilitation requirements on waste dumps and all over other areas on the tenement?
