2019, and to the engagement of KPMG to undertaken an independent review of
complaints in handling youth detention in Western Australia, and I ask: (a) is
this project now completed; (b) if
no, when it is anticipated it will be completed; (c) if
yes to (a), will the Premier please table the project report; and (d) if
no to (c), why not?

(d) Advice to Government relating to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse’s recommendations regarding complaints handling in youth detention, informed by the review, is due to be considered by Cabinet. Actions taken to implement the Royal Commission’s recommendations, including those relating to youth detention, will be addressed in the annual Progress Report, which will be provided by the Minister for Child Protection later in the year.
