The Independent Market Operator has provided a list of generation facilities owned by independent power producers that have either commenced operation in the South West Interconnected System since 1 October 2008, or have been assigned Capacity Credits and are yet to commence operation. The list is outlined in [Tabled Paper No.].
The date on which electricity was first sent out into the network, or is planned to be sent out, is provided; however, the Independent Manager Operator is not provided with information on the timing of investment decisions for each of these facilities.
It should be noted that development lead times for different types of generation projects can vary widely, which is likely to result in different investment decision timelines for the listed projects.
