payments or compensation payments were made per year by the Department for Fisheries or the Minister to licensed fishermen for changes to their license or changes to the allocated fishing area?
(2) If the Minister is unable to provide details about some payments due to confidentiality agreements, for these payments just provide the number of payments made per year.
(3) Which payments since 2005 were made in connection with procedures before the State Administrative Tribunal?

In 2005 and 2006
a total of thirteen Act of Grace Payments were made totalling $221,882.
In 2007
one confidential Act of Grace payment was made.
In 2008
twenty nine Act of Grace payments were made totalling $1,927,572. Five voluntary fisheries adjustment payments were made totalling $1,629,980.
In 2009
thirteen Act of Grace and compensation payments were made totalling $1,349,720. Twenty seven licence buyback payments were made totalling $2,317,562.
Two compensation payments totalling $4,100,000 were made through industry funded licence buyback schemes and these payments will be repaid to the WA Treasury Corporation over 10 years.
In 2010
fourteen licence buyback payments were made totalling $352,128.
In 2011
two confidential Act of Grace payments were made. Eighteen compensation payments totalling $37,730,000 were made through industry funded licence buyback schemes and these payments will be repaid to the WA Treasury Corporation over 10 years. Two licence buyback payments were made totalling $415,741.
No payments have been made in connection with the State Administrative Tribunal.
