(a – d) Bed surveys, to determine whether a bed is considered operational or non-operational, are not undertaken daily. No bed survey was conducted on January 1, 2022.
At the date of the most recent bed survey for operational beds on 15 February 2023, WA Health recorded 7,137 operational beds.
At the date of the most recent bed survey for non-operational beds on 15 May 2023, WA Health recorded 59 non-operational beds.
(e) There were 338 new beds opened across 2022. These were located at:
