I refer to the proposed floating wharf at the Port of Broome, and ask: (a) what on-site works have been conducted at the location of the proposed floating wharf at the Port of Broome; (b) who conducted this work; (c) what dates did the work commence and finish; (d) did the company that conducted the works contact the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (DPLH) prior to the commencement of operations to ensure there would be no disturbance to the registered Heritage Site 12783 Entrance Point/Yinara; (e) is DPLH aware of the company contacting the knowledge holders of the site to ensure they wouldn’t be impacting on any heritage sites that were not registered; (f) if no to (e), why not; (g) is DPLH investigating a potential breach of the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972 at the Port of Broome; (h) if no to (g), why not; (i) if yes to (g), will the government prosecute if the Act has been breached; and (j) if no to (i), why not?
