I refer to the Minister’s answer to Question without Notice No. 501 on 14 September 2010 in which she said the External Review Unit (ERU) in the Department of Education Services had been established, and I ask:
(a) in reference to the approximate funding figure of $600,000 the Minister gave in her answer, is this allocation accurate; and
(i) if not, how much funding was allocated in the 2010–2011 Budget for the establishment of the ERU;
(b) how much funding, if any, was allocated to the ERU in the recent 2011–2012 Budget;
(c) how many people comprise the ERU; and
(i) what are their names and job titles;
(d) does the ERU have a regular meeting schedule; and
(i) if so, what is it;
(e) how many times has the ERU met;
(f) is the ERU fully operational; and
(i) if not, why not;
(g) if the ERU is fully operational, how many independent public schools have been reviewed; and
(i) what were the results of those reviews; and
(h) has the ERU put in place procedures to ensure public transparency of the review procedure and school review results; and
(i) if not, why not; and
(ii) if yes, what are those procedures?
