KARARA MINING — ACCESS TO PARMELIA AQUIFER
Karara Mining has applied for 5 300 megalitres a year from the Parmelia aquifer in Mingenew. In consultation with landowners, it appears that Karara has offered water access to the pipeline in return for property easements. (1) How much water is Karara offering to each property owner in return for the pipeline easement? (2) Will these water transfers be recorded in the newly constructed water transfer register? (3) Why has Karara applied for a volume of water that is clearly in excess of the volume needed for mining production processes? Hon HELEN MORTON
