For an indication as to the number of staff employed in each agency, the Leader of the Opposition is referred to the Public Sector Commissioner's annual State of the Sector (SOTS) report which was last tabled in November 2011. This report is supported by a SOTS Statistical Bulletin that contains detailed agency information. These publications provide extensive data and an analysis of changes in workforce profile across Government over the last year. The Public Sector Commissioner also produces quarterly Workforce Reports that provide agency level FTE and headcount information.  These reports are all available via the PSC website. If the Leader of the Opposition has a specific question relating to staffing levels, separations by district, FTE indicators of workload, changes in the number of positions maintained across the sector (or in a specific agency), I encourage the Leader to be more specific about the information that is being sought and to put the question on notice.
