LOW AND ZERO-EMISSION VEHICLES
941. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Transport:
(1) How many
applications for the zero emission vehicle rebate has the Department of
Transport received from 10 May 2022, when it was announced, until 1 October
2022?
(2) How many of
those applications have been deemed eligible and how many have been deemed
ineligible?
(3) Why are heavy vehicles and non–road
use agricultural machines deemed ineligible for the rebate?
(4) Will the government review
these exemptions; and, if not, why not?

(1) A total of 189.
(2) Part 1 is 147 and part 2 is 42.
(3)–(4) These questions
