(2) How many un-staffed beds are at each hospital?
(3) For each Wednesday in 2006 and each Wednesday so far in 2007 -

(b) what was the number of beds in use by patients?

Galliers currently has 34 available/active beds consisting of: · 24 Multi-day beds · 10 Same-day beds Kaleeya currently has 49 available/active beds consisting of: · 36 Multi-day beds · 13 Same-day beds (2) Available inactive beds are beds within ward areas into which patients cannot currently be allocated (i.e. are closed for operational management reasons, such as infection control, staffing, clinical, demand management, ward maintenance etc). Some of the unavailable/inactive beds are made available when there is sufficient demand; this occurs regularly as indicated by the data shown in (3b) below.
