RACING AND WAGERING
WESTERN AUSTRALIA — THOROUGHBRED CO-DIRECTOR
532. Mr V.A. CATANIA to the Minister for Racing and Gaming:
I have a supplementary question.
Does the minister consider it appropriate for the CEO of RWWA to publicly back
his potential new director before eligible industry bodies submitted their nominations?

AnswerView source ↗

I have no idea what comments or what
backing the member is referring to. I do know that the director general of the
Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, who is the
responsible director general for this agency, gave me advice indicating that Mr
Bransby should be the selected representative and that is the advice I took.
