I refer to the Kimberley Science and Conservation Strategy ─ soil and rock sampling program being undertaken by the Geological Survey of Western Australia, and ask —
(1) What is the estimated cost of collecting the 3,500 soil samples?
(2) What is the estimated cost of visiting 40 sites to look at rocks and collect samples?
(3) When is projected that this program will be undertaken?
(4) What is the anticipated duration of the sampling period?
(5) What budget allocation are the funds coming from to facilitate the Kimberley Science and Conservation Strategy ─ soil and rock sampling program?

(2) $200 000
(3)  Conditional on weather and on completing heritage clearances, the project will be undertaken in the 2013 and possibly part of the 2014 dry seasons; between 1 May and 30 September 2013 and 1 May and 30 June 2014.
(4)  Soil sampling - about six weeks. Rock sampling is estimated at two weeks.
