(2) No. (3) – (6) The Government's clear policy is that the Fremantle Eastern Bypass will not proceed. The Commissioner of Main Roads has assured the Hon Minister for Planning and Infrastructure that Main Roads fully understands and is committed to the Government's position. The Commissioner regrets any confusion the reported comments may have caused.
