AUGUSTA–MARGARET RIVER CLEAN COMMUNITY ENERGY
1162. Hon LOUISE KINGSTON to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Energy:
I
recently attended a Synergy information session regarding a possible wind
turbine farm at Scott River. Augusta– Margaret River Clean
Community Energy was in attendance, but it was unclear in what capacity.
(1) What specific
information did AMRCCE provide to Synergy regarding the Scott River wind farm
project?
(2) Did AMRCCE share any
feasibility studies or environmental impact assessments with Synergy?
(3) If yes to (2), was the report
required to detail what community consultation was undertaken?
(4) Did AMRCCE receive any form of payment or
compensation from Synergy for its contribution to the project?
(5) If yes to (4), what was the
basis for this compensation?
