The funding commitment then accounted for the fact that the Council would move into a coordination and implementation phase once these plans had been developed. This resulted in reduced levels of funding for the final two years of the five-year commitment. The Council is currently reviewing the existing funding arrangements in light of its role beyond the original five-year commitment.
