MENTAL HEALTH REVIEW BOARD — INVOLUNTARY PATIENTS
I refer to the Mental Health Review Board established under part 6 of the Mental Health Act 1996 and its statutory role to review involuntary patients in accordance with the act. (1) Since September 2008, how many times has the Minister for Health directed the board to inquire into any matter to do with the administration of the act under section 147? (2) What were the matters that the board inquired into? (3) Did the board report to the minister on the results of any inquiry that it was directed by the minister to carry out?
