(a) The grant acquittal process requires each proponent to provide an evaluation report to the relevant Regional Development Commission outlining the effectiveness of the project in delivering the intended outcomes as set out in the grant agreement.
(b) Proponents are required to demonstrate alignment of intended project outcomes with Royalties for Regions objectives during the applications process.  Evaluation of project effectiveness occurs at acquittal.
The Department of Regional Development (DRD) undertakes regular program-level evaluation of Royalties for Regions investment impact.  DRD is currently evaluating the collective impact of the Regional Grants Scheme in the South West. The finding of this evaluation will be available in September 2015.
