I refer to the Minister's response
to question without notice No. 881 and supplementary information, the answer contradicts email advice, released under Freedom of Information, from the Department for Corrective Services to the Department for Child Protection and Family Support on the 8 May 2014, which stated “you require details of admissions of young people who are Wards of the State from 10 March 2014 to now? If this is the case, I have a list that I can provide, the list indicates there were 37 admissions”, and I ask: (a) can the Minister advise why
retrospective numbers of children in care at Banksia Hill can be provided to
the Department for Child Protection and Family Support but not to the Parliament; and (b) what is the total number young people were
admitted to the centre from 10 March 2014 to 8 May 2014?
