The Report on Consultants Engaged by Government for the six months ending 30 June 2024 notes $86,130 paid to Strategic Maritime for a WA Port Hydrogen and Renewables Strategy by the Department of Transport; and in the Report to 31 December 2024 there is a further payment of $8,850 to Strategic Maritime for the same purpose. Can the Minister advise: (a) Has the work by Strategic Maritime been completed; (b) If so, when; (c) Was a draft and or final report provided to Government; (d) Will the Minister table a copy of this draft and or final report: (i) If not, why not; (e) What were the outcomes of the work undertaken by Strategic Maritime; and (f) What is the status of the WA Port Hydrogen and Renewables Strategy?

(a)-(f)   The consultancy was completed in 2024.  Strategic Maritime provided feedback and guidance on the final report of the WA Hydrogen and Renewables Port Strategy
Strategic Maritime policy advice focused on the viability of hydrogen port operations in WA and on potential funding models for new port infrastructure.
