(1) $4 400 000 to each of the nine Regional Development Commissions.
(2) As Royalties for Regions funds were approved in May 2009 only limited funds could be distributed to approved projects. For 2008-09 the following amounts were distributed under the Scheme by each Regional Development Commission:
Gascoyne $ 0
Goldfields Esperance $ 47 636
Great Southern $ 22 343
Kimberley $ 63 826
Mid West $ 4 478
Peel $ 67 369
Pilbara $ 110 000
South West $ 56 733
Wheatbelt $ 37 310
(3) $1 000 000 to each of the nine Regional Development Commissions.
(4) For 2009-10 the following amounts were distributed under the Scheme by each Regional Development Commission:
Gascoyne $ 2 770 000
Goldfields Esperance $ 1 917 000
Great Southern $ 1 292 000
Kimberley $ 4 374 000
Mid West $ 1 149 000
Peel $ 2 073 243
Pilbara $ 2 253 096
South West $ 3 560 000
Wheatbelt $ 2 065 000
(5) $4 000 000 has been allocated to each of the nine Regional Development Commissions in the 2010/11 financial year to fund projects approved in the 2009/10 round of Regional Grants Scheme. The projects were approved on the basis that funding would be available from 1 July 2010.
(6&7) The details of the 2010-11 Regional Grants Scheme will be announced shortly.
