In relation to Department of Planning advice and Ministerial media alerts and cuttings provided to the Minister and the Ministerial Office, I ask:
(a) since your appointment as Minister for Planning what information, when and from whom, has the Minister received either orally, electronically or in written form relating to the Waratah Avenue redevelopment proposals, the People Against Density Dalkeith (PADD), and any other rezoning issues, and will the Minister table that advice, and if not why not;
(b) given the Minister's ownership of an investment property close to the site of the recent Waratah Avenue redevelopment proposals, will the Minister provide the date of settlement for this investment property; and
(c) does the Minister stand by his comments in relation to the purchase of an investment property on Waratah Ave that, he could not recall whether he was aware rezoning was being considered?

(a) In 2008 I received an email from People Against Density Dalkeith, opposing
higher density housing in Dalkeith in general with no reference to either Waratah Avenue or any specific development in the area.
With respect to Waratah Avenue, as detailed in my answer to Parliamentary Question 7574, in September 2010 a submission in support of the proposal from the project proponents was noted by me.
In September 2011 a prospective purchaser of the subject sites contacted my office regarding timing of the Amendment decision, however the content of the proposal was not discussed in any detail.
During 2011 I received various correspondence from Dalkeith residents supporting increased density and scale of development for the area, although none of these specifically mentioned Amendment 192.
(b) As I have previously advised the Parliament, the property was settled in April 2010.
(c) Yes.
