some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided to me by
the Minister for Transport.
(1)–(5) Ninety-three
diesel buses have been purchased this financial year to date, all of which meet
world's best Euro 6 emissions standards. Works are underway to install
charging infrastructure at key locations, and production has commenced on the
new electric buses, which will roll out onto the central area transit network
later this year.
