EMERGENCY SERVICES ACT —
REVIEW
1308. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the Minister for Emergency Services:
I refer to the consolidated
Emergency Services Act.
(1) Noting the
2024–25 budget commitment to fund five FTEs dedicated to coordinating
the review and the drafting of the legislation, how many FTE are currently assigned
to the task?
(2) How many FTE are vacant?
(3) When will the government finally
release the much-delayed exposure draft of the bill?
(4) Does the government remain
committed to passing the bill in the forty-first Parliament?
