I refer to the Premier's comments reported in
The Australian
of 2 June 2012 that there had been 80 Chinese-led delegations to Perth during 2011, and I ask:
(a) who informed the Premier of this information;
(b) when was the Premier informed about this information;
(c) did the Premier request that the number of visiting Chinese delegations be calculated for the purpose of his attendance at The Australian and Deutsche Bank Leaders Forum, or is this information that is regularly calculated by the State Government and provided to the Premier;
(d) given that the Premier already has information on the number of delegations that visited Perth from China, would the Premier please provide the following information:
(i) the name of each of these delegations;
(ii) the number of members of each of these delegations;
(iii) the principal reason for each delegations' visit;
(iv) the dates each delegation visited Perth; and
(v) who from State Government met with each delegation;
(e) what was the total number of delegations from countries other than China that visited Perth during the year 2011, and what was the total number of delegations from each individual country; and
(f) if this information is not available, what was the Premier basing his statement on?
