I refer to the government's
fascination with spending additional billions of dollars on Metronet while our
housing market is in crisis, our health system is on life support, and violent
crime continues to be out of control.
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER : Order, please,
members! I would like to hear the question in silence, please.
Ms L. METTAM : Will the
Premier give a guarantee to the Western Australian community that tomorrow's
budget will prioritise a significantly higher allocation of funds for frontline
services and the priorities that Western Australians expect, as opposed to
cushioning more budget blowouts in a mismanaged project?
