I refer the minister to Labor’s election promise that committed a re-elected Gallop government to installing traffic control lights at the intersection of Madora Beach Road and Fremantle Road by October 2005. This is a major issue for the residents of Madora and the wider Mandurah community. When will this election promise be fulfilled? Ms A.J.G. MacTIERNAN

I thank the member for the question, of which no notice has been given. I take it as a great vote of confidence in my capacity that members opposite believe that I would know the timetable for every installation of traffic lights around the state. That is an extraordinary vote of confidence. I take it as a great compliment, and I assure the member that I will get the detail of that timetable before the end of the day.
