Many people in the community are concerned that corporate sponsorship in America and the Eastern States has had detrimental affects on students, schools and education. In relation to schools in Western Australia, I ask -
(1) What safeguards or limitations have been set for corporate sponsorship of schools in Western Australia?
(2) Will the Department of Education and Training provide a government paid expert in corporate sponsorship to each school?
(3) What guidelines have been set to ensure that corporate sponsorship will not interfere with the educational materials provided to students?
(4) What guidelines have been set to ensure that schools receive equal corporate sponsorship attention?
(5) What protection will a school have against the demands of a corporate sponsor?
(6) Will fast food corporations be allowed to sponsor schools?

(1) The Department's current Advertising and Sponsorship in Schools Policy states the parameters for corporate sponsorship in schools. (2) No (3) - (6) As for (1).
