I refer to LandCorp’s proposed clearing of a 3.7 hectare nature corridor at College Grove near Bunbury that comprises rare tuart forest and is home to native species including the endangered ringtail possum, and I ask — (1) Has LandCorp sought the approval of the Minister for the Environment or the Department of Environment and Conservation for this proposed clearing? (2) If no to (1), why not? (3) Can the minister please table any clearing or other permits obtained by LandCorp for the clearing of this site? The final alignment increased the area of regional open space and the amount of remnant vegetation that would be reserved.
