NOTES Data Source: HR Data Warehouse. Data extracted on 11 March 2010. The Office of Health Review, Peel Health Campus and Joondalup Health Campus have been excluded. The above answer is for the Drug and Alcohol Office (DAO) only. As at 1 March 2009 and 1 March 2010 the Mental Health Division (now known as the Mental Health Commission) and mental health services in Area Health Services formed part of the Department of Health (DOH) and of hospitals boards which are in the Minister for Health's portfolio. As a consequence, information concerning the Mental Health Division and mental health services is included in the answer to PQ 1652 provided in respect of DOH as a whole by the Minister for Health. Excludes staff employed on temporary contracts greater than 12 months or consecutive contracts where the total time employed exceeds 12 months. FTE FTE is calculated as the monthly Average FTE and is the average hours worked during a period of time divided by the Award Full Time Hours for the same period. Hours include ordinary time; overtime; all leave categories; public holidays; Time Off in Lieu; and Workers Compensation. FTE figures provided are based on Actual (Paid) month to date FTE. FTE includes DOH staff and agency. Headcount Headcount is for staff employed by DOH only and excludes agency. Headcount is calculated as the number of persons employed by DOH only and paid in the last pay period of the month specified. Headcount provided as at last pay period in February 2009 and February 2010. DOH employees can be employed across multiple sites and are therefore represented as a headcount at each site of employment.
