I refer to the $3.5m allocated to the Wheatbelt Renal Dialysis Service in Northam in the 2013–2014 State Budget and ask: (a) how much total State Government funding is allocated for this project for each of the following years: (i) 2013–2014; (ii) 2014–2015; (iii) 2015–2016; and (iv) 2016–2017; (b) where is the funding coming from, is it all funded through Royalties for Regions, or is WA Country Health also contributing funding the project; (c) how much (if any) has been spent on this project to date; (d) how many chairs will the service have; (e) how many patients will the service be able to treat at any given time; (f) when will the service expected to be operational; and (g) will the renal services it provides be publicly operated, or will the running of the service be contracted out to the private sector?
