ROE HIGHWAY STAGE 8 — CONTRACT
935. Hon SUE ELLERY to the parliamentary
secretary representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the Roe 8 contract the
government has announced it intends to sign before the March 2017 election.
(1) Has the
government sought advice on the impact of the High Court legal challenge on the
contract, including potential termination costs?
(2) If yes to (1), what advice has
been provided?
(3) If no to (1), why not, and will
the government seek legal advice prior to signing the contract?
