I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question. The following answer has been provided to me by the Minister for
Environment.

The McGowan government recognises the overwhelming body of scientific evidence
on the realities and impacts of climate change. I refer the honourable member
to the following publicly available documents: the Bureau of Meteorology's State of the climate 2020 report; the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate
Change's 2019 Special report: Climate change and land ; and the
IPCC's 2021 Sixth assessment report .
(3) Not applicable.
(4) I ask that this question be referred to the Minister for
Forestry.
