(1) Yes. The Public Transport Authority is continually monitoring stations on the Joondalup Line to assess occupancy of car parks.

(3) The Government plans to increase parking at Greenwood, Whitfords, Stirling and Edgewater stations and this was announced in a joint media statement by Premier Alan Carpenter MLA and Minister for Planning and Infrastructure Alannah MacTiernan MLA on 2
nd
May 2007. In addition, a marketing campaign is to be conducted shortly to promote the benefits of and encourage use of feeder bus services, to stations that provide bus connections, as well as riding, walking or being dropped at a station where patrons have those choices.
(4) The details of the project costs as estimated in the media statement on 2 May 2007 totalled $18 million, including Greenwood Station ($8.35million), Whitfords Station ($5.45million), Stirling Station ($2.5million) and Edgewater Station ($1.7million).
(5) Park and Ride patrons pay $2 a day where they park in secured 'pay n display' parking bays. It is anticipated that the additional bays will be a mix of 'free' and 'pay n display' depending on demand and on the practicality of providing security.

(7) The media statement on 2 May 2007 indicated, construction will start in 2008-09. In fact, initial construction is already underway at Greenwood and Edgewater Stations.
