I refer to Western Power connection times for new residences, and I ask: (a) for the year 2022-23, what was the average number of days it took to successfully install new power services for single residential connection applications, from the day of application lodgement to functioning power connection, per region; (b) for the year 2022-23, what was the average number of days it took to successfully install new power services for small multi-residential connection applications, from the day of application lodgement to functioning power connection, per region; and (c) for the year 2022-23, what was the average number of days it took to successfully install new power services for large multi-residential connections, from the day of application lodgement to functioning power connection, per region?

(a) For the financial year 2022/23, the average number of days it took to install new power service for a single residential connection from application through to construction is tabled below:

The majority of applications received are for connections located a significant distance from the existing network. By nature, these projects are larger and more complex.
