(a) The position has been vacant since 19 October 2016.
(b) The functions of the community representative position have continued to be met by the current local government representative on the Statutory Planning Committee, who had previously received Ministerial approval as having practical knowledge of and experience in community affairs.
(c) An advertisement was published in The West Australian newspaper on Saturday, 12 May 2018 seeking nominations.
